Can't Telnet a WSS 2360?

I set up a Nortel WLAN 2360 Secure Switch. Everything is working but could not telnet to it, it asks user name and pswd, whatever I type just not accept. But the same set of user and pswd works for https. I enabled telnet and https access.
Who has experience on WLAN 2300 series please give me some hint, thanks

Hi Michael,

I´m not familiar with the 2360, but try looking at the admin which is related to the telnet service. i believe the https is/can be another since these are different services. try deleting/sdding the telnet ogin setting. however as recommendation i advise you to use the encrypted version of telnet: ssh.

It was using SSH and telnet and https.
I guess it is something related to self-certificate.......
Who has ever use WMS to config WSS and still can use telnet?
