I am running Windows XP at work and have a Palm Tungsten T3 which I sync there with no problem. However, when I installed the Palm Desktop software (version 4.1) on my iMac G4 at home, I cannot get the Palm to successfully connect. I have called Palm tech support twice and have gone through re-installs, and every other thing they could think of--nothing worked. They said is was Apple's problem and I should call them. I don't believe them!
I found, by mistake one day, that if my Palm undergoes a hard reset, then it will sync to the iMac just fine. However, as soon as I get it back to work and sync there (and restore all my data), it falls back to the old pattern and gives me the error message that a connection could not be established when I try to sync at home on the iMac.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
