Dear Rikkie
Post back in the thread that started before, don't keep starting new threads.
See the last thread but in the meantime backup all your Userdata folders somewhere else than where it usually resides and get an uninstall program and uninstall all the Sidekick programs you have installed, see the answer I gave you on the other thread too.
Give us a bit more info in one place (The last thread will do as I have marked it and will get email notification when you have posted) as to what you have done and in what order so that we can deal with the problem and not keep going around in circles....
Regards Jim

Hey, thanx 2 all for their care and attention, but I found the solution.
I got a monster executable named utilitiesdll.exe. I dont know what it is and I dont know who made it or what purpose. But I just stopped it and everything went well again. What is this ? An anti starfish-executable, it is not a virus. Who invents things like that ?
BTW sorry for messing up the thread.
Greetz to james 33 , big thankyou. If you want me to send you this monster just sendme your email.
Greatz to all..
Thanx...

Dear Rikki,
Well done!
Do I want this Monster?
Well how big is it?
Wait a bit and I will check it out to see what it may be I'll post back but if you do post before me I have the thread marked so I will get notified
Regards Jim

Dear Rikki (without the problem anymore)!
Ok thats great, send it to
clone@dol.ie
and I'll check it out. Regards Jim

Dear Rikki,
Could you also post the location you found the file in.
i.e. C:\Windows etc etc or wherever Regards Jim

Hi James 33, symantec didn't see a virus in it, but ofcourse, they are quite infallible.
As said in the zip file windows\system ...
Thatsit Greatz to all make it happen ..
Bye

Dear rikki and anyone else,
The executable seemed to check whether there was an active connection to the internet, but beyond that I'm not knowlegeable enough to know.
Whether that was the problem or not, it seemed to solve rikki's problem, if anyone else has found this on their system please post with any ideas as to it's source and if it had the same effect on their ability to load/install Sdk98 sdk99 (Rikki's original problem see
thread807-338098 ) or as in this thread; the ability to Open/Run Sdk95.
Please also describe what operating system you are running too. HTH
Regards Jim
