Hello,
While trying to install act 2008, I discovered that there is something wrong with my IIS. The message I got during the install was "unable to start IIS admin service".
I tried to start the service manually, but I get the message "could not start the IIS admin service on local computer error 3: the system cannot find the path specified.
I have windows xp service pack 2 installed.
I tried reinstalling IIS from the add/remove dialog box, but that doesn't seem to work.
I tried putting in the windows xp cd, but that didn't work either. I'm stumped at this point what I should do next to fix this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
