Can't start Exchange 2000

Im new to Exchange 2000 and have a customer that uses it.
Their email went down Friday and I cannot seem to start it.
I have loaded sp1 because the M drive has now disappeared and MS recommended loading the sp1.
I did that and it definitely recognized it because it says Service Pack 1 on it now.
I tried starting MS Information Store but get error 1067 Terminated unexpectedly
I tried starting IMAP4 and get error 1068

Can anyone tell me how to recycle exchange in a way that it will bring up the M network drive again? Or are my problems deeper?

Sounds possible like a virus infection?? Are they running any Anti Virus software? Have you done a scan to see if anything is infected? I would start there.

Look the error codes up in the MS KB and see what you can find.
