cant start cmc on crystal reports server XI

Hi there

scenario:
windows 2k,xp
crystal reports server xi
tomcat 5.0.28
issue:

if I install tomcat, then crystal and tell crystal to not install his tomcat, after that i cant open cmc.

http://servername:portnumber/businessobjects/enterprise11/admin/default.htm

I got a 404 error

type Status report

message /businessobjects/enterprise11/admin/default.htm

description The requested resource (/businessobjects/enterprise11/admin/default.htm) is not available.

does anyone any ideas?

is this release 2 by chance? if so your url will be enterprise115, not enterprise11...

it is release 1 for sure because infoview is working and this webpage has enterprise11 within it

May only work in R2 ( with enterprise115 ) but worth a try..
