Cant start arcserve 2000 jo engine

I have Arcserve 2000 installed on Windows NT 4 SRV Pack 4.

When I start Arcserve it tries to start the job engine I then get a time out message.

If I try to start the job engine manually I get an error 2140 message.

Any idea's.

Make shure to register your Arcserve. I had the same problem it would time out and not start. There is a log file in the caLic Folder check that and see if there are any errors in it.

check the NT event log also for any messages or license notifications.
