Can't sort sent mail folder Outlook 2003

Outlook 2003 with personal folders. I copied all of my sent mail to the personal folders/sent mail folder and then noticed that everything was labelled as being from me. When I tried to sort there was no "To" option on the tool bar so I right clicked and told it to sort by "To" Everything still shows as from me. I can sort by date, received, time, etc. But I can not sort "To".
Help!
Oh yeah, of course I deleted all of the other mail so I no longer have a copy.
