I'm a newbie to Access, and I can't get my report to fit on to one page. I've tried shortening the fields that are created by the wizard, so that it looks as though they will all fit. But I still get a blank page, or a page with just a part of the top and bottom border lines. I've tried shortening the border lines as well, and then I just get a blank page in between each page.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,

Sue

You have to coordinate your page width with the reports Page Margins. This is done through File Menu/ Page Setup. If you have a Portrait report with 1" margins on left and right then you only have 6.5" to put all of your controls and borders within. If anything extends out paste this 6.5' you will get an extra page for each page printed with just the little bit printed that does fit.

Hope this helps.

If you are getting part of the border lines, then that is waht you might need to shorten
