can't share hp 4570c Scanner?

I am trying to access a scanner that is on a different workstation. My computer is XP Pro and the other WIndows 2000. Is there a reason why I cannot even see the scanner from my computer? I have full admin rights! I can see it from the 2000 workstation in the device manager.

Any ideas?
