When booting a Solaris 8 box while connected to the network the following message comes up during the boot process:

/usr/sbin/vold[344]: [ID 862650 daemon.error] can't set vol root to "/vol"; Resource temporarily unavailable

The box appears to finish booting and appears to be running OK, but the console will not enter the GUI console screen.

If we remove the box from the network it boots fine and enters the GUI console.

The box's ip address and hostname were recently changed.

Ant idea what is causing this message. It appears not to be severe since the box is running but I would like to get it fixed.
