Can't Set Personalized Ring Tone

I am unable to set the personalized ring for an MLX-10DP handset. As indicated in what little documentation I have I need to hit *32 then 1-8 for the particular ring tone. Everything is fine until I hit the 2. When I hit the 2 I get a fast beep tone. I have tried entering the tone number and then hanging up but this does not change the ring tone.

We are running Merlin Magix 2.0 v10.2

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try using the menu off the phone. Look for the function "pring"

My menu only lists: Dir, Msgs, Post, Prog, AlClk, Timer, and Ctrst.

Any other ideas?

Menu -> Prog -> Hit ANY Line key or SA Button -> List -> Personalized Ring (it's abbreviated, but I don't remember just how) -> [Soft Keys for Ring 1-4, next page for 5-8] -> Enter -> Exit
