I added a new smtp connector for another domain I have. I can for the most part receive mail from yahoo and gmail( I sometimes have to send 2-3 times before I get it).
When I try from my verizon account I get :
Reason: Remote SMTP server has rejected address
Diagnostic code: smtp;550 #5.1.0 Address rejected David.S@a1pnet.com
When I try to reply it just sits in the queue. Is there something I need to set?
So any help on why it take 2-3 times of sending and why nothing is leaving my queues is appreciated.

Im assuming you want to receive mail for another domain name you have. then you dont have to add a smtp connector todo this you need to add a new recipient policy for that domain.

smtp connectors are for outbound mail

I know smtp is to send. All my mail was stuck in the queue so I added another smtp connector for outbound for that domain. That didnt work, but when I route through smarthost it is working.

The original post is confusing. Are you trying to send to another domain hosted on another environment, or to another domain on the same Exchange server?

Plan for performance, and capacity takes care of itself. Plan for capacity, and suffer poor performance.

think it would be better if you explain what you are trying todo and a bit more about your setup
