Can't send/reply to Yahoo or Hotmail emails 1

For some reason I have stopped being able to reply (or send) emails from my Yahoo and/or Hotmail accounts on IE. I can read messages, but just can't reply.

Am running XP Pro and IE 6. I uninstalled and reinstalled IE but the problem continues. I can reply/send Yahoo and Hotmail email from AOL's browser.

Can't figure out why and is bothering me! Help anyone?

When I click the Send button, I get waiting to contact

and it eventually times out.
