Can't send out mail - Sendmail

Can you telnet to port 25 to see if Sendmail is listening on that port?

1. Check whether Sendmail -bd process running on ur machine.
2. If yes, check the mail queue if the messages are lying in the queue.
3. Check whether ur naming services are configured correctly.
