Cant send message from BlackBerry 8700

I put my cell phone SIM into a BB 8700. I can send emails from my MS Outlook to my BB (send to phone#@txt.att.net), and can reply to the email. I can send email from GMail to BB, and can reply. But, I can not send an email from my BB.

Any ideas? Many thanks to everyone.

The BB will need to be linked into your desktop manager or BES.
