hello, my company has an exchange 2000 server and i am having a problem. we do not have an exchange admin so i am trying to figure it out myself. so here's the problem....

Our excahnge server is on our main domain company.com but our employees don't use the address user@company.com. our mail is outsourced, we use exchange for instant messenging call recordings for our CIC servers. our company employees email addresses are user@companycc.com (notice the cc at the end of company). if i try to use an email box that i created on our exchange server to send mail, i can successfully send mail to any address that ends with company.com but i can not send mail to any address that ends in companycc.com

any ideas what i need to do to fix this??

thanks
mike

Is the exchange server hosted externally?

If not you shoudl be able to add a second domain and just add a new smpt address to everyone with the companycc.com domain.

Can you send using just alias's from the GAL?
