Hi,

I am having problems sending large (>1 MB) files with FTP put command. Small files can be sent easily. The following error occurs:

ftp> bin
200 Type set to I.
ftp> put filename
200 PORT command successful.
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for filename.
> Netout :Connection reset by peer
Connection closed by remote host.

Any ideas? I am using FTP from Win xp command line.

thanks,

Your client shouldnt matter, I have seen people use internet explorer to get files ftp://toplacefilesarelocated in address bar window. If you are using windows xp or greater it should prompt you for username or password. I have also seen where the ftp server service had to be stopped and restarted on ftp server.
