Since purchasing BT Broadband (uk) I have not been able to send any e-mail using outlook express except hotmail. Previously I had been using Freeserve Anytime. What could the problem be?
Thanks

Many ISPs only allow you to send mail via one of their mail accounts, are you using a BT mail account? (I can receive from other accounts but only send via one of my ISP's accounts)

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

Ok thanks. I'm not using a BT mail account. Is there any way that I could get around this? When we had freeserve it worked fine.

If there was, it would involve asking BT

You can try setting up your email client so that it sends the mail thru BT but keep the incoming mail server as your current ISP .
