can't select entire field contents?

I have one SAP user who cannot select the entire contents of a field. They have to clear contents character by character. When I login to their SAP client I can select contents without any issues. I've been through all the settings but can't seem to find the cause. I've also tried reinstalling SAP and GUIXT without success. It doesn't seem like a big problem but over the course of a day it adds up.

I'm running SAP client version 6.20.49 with SAPgui ver 6.20 on Windows XP.
