I'm trying to build a CR 8.5 report using the Report Wizard;
my data source is an Access 97 MDB; the "table" I'm trying
to select is a query that uses a VBA expression to generate
one of my output fields.
The expression works as follows: I have parent records
that I'm reporting on, and I need to include some data
from child records in my report header - the child records
are dates, so my function does a "SELECT DISTINCT " to
return a string of "Dates are: (distinct child date 1),
(distinct child date 2), (distinct child date 3)" and so
on once for each parent record.
Has anyone out there run into this? If so, are they aware
of any workarounds (apart from not using the VBA function
as an expression...).
TIA
