Can't seem to grasp Insight Report Builder 2

I have been spending an obscene amount of time trying to create reports that I want and need for my business via report building and getting pretty much nowhere.

Besides wondering if there was some resource or documentation that exists that isn't as useless as the integrated 1 page documentation. And if anyone can point me in that direction I would tremendously appreciative.

But one case in particular is that I am trying to create a report that give me a breakdown of payments made to our various house accounts and that shows each house account separately.

Everything I do only seems to display "House account dollars by account name" as some kind of aggregate rather than creating a new line for each house account.

Any advice anyone can provide would be fantastic. I want to use this tool but I feel completely road blocked by it.

I took a look at the builder and was reminded why I hate Insight so much.
If you've got an Enterprise account Hosted Solutions should be able to hook you up.

They also have free training you can take to learn more about the reports builder. One of my coworkers took it, and has built hundreds of custom data exports and reports.

Thanks for this info. I am going to look into training immediately. I am assuming this training is through NCR corporate not my local NCR vendor?

Yes. Its all done online.

Login to your Aloha Enterprise website.
Click on "Support & Training" at the bottom.
Click on Training Schedule to find a class you can take live. Class 1.4 is the reports builder.
There are also some pre-recorded videos available for you to watch on these subjects as well.
