Hi - I want to send off an html file in notepad to someone since they don't have the same editor that I do. There is one problem though: when I copy the html from my editor to notepad, the picture doesn't show up on notepad.

What could be wrong? Here is an example of the html for the picture in notepad:
<p align=&quot;center&quot;>
<img border=&quot;0&quot; src=&quot;../../../WINDOWS/Desktop/Gino%20Files/Gino%20Enterprises/Gino%20logo.jpg&quot; width=&quot;576&quot; height=&quot;144&quot;></p>

TIA

To send the html file to someone you would have to either send the picture as an attachment or put the picture on a server and use the URL to that.

No matter what editor you use, the picture may show for you but will not show for the person you send it to if it is on your local computer.

Hope this helps

Aishaa,
Do you just require that they be able to view the page?

One workaround might be to preview the page in Internet Explorer on your own PC and then go to File >Save As and select &quot;Web Archive, single file&quot; and then send them that file - it will have an extension .mht and should contain everything on the page wrapped up in a single file. Send them that file and when they double click it IE should open up and display the complete page.

If you are sending them it for any other reason, send them the HTML file and all the images seperately and explain to them that they will need to edit the HTML to point to the correct locations of the images either on their hard drive or as real URLs. Joe Bananas
