Hello all. I recently just bought a Maxtor 250Gig drive to throw into one of my comps. Im trying to run the drive as a slave on my Promise Ultra100TX2 card. Ive tried the Cable Select jumper settings as well as slave jumper settings. The drive just doesnt show up. Is there some process I have to go through for first time drives to be recognized on my comp? It doesnt show up in the bios either I dont think. Thanks!
