How do I show the fields in an Access view (query) in a project.

Are you referring to Running your Query?
click the RED Exclamation mark at the top?
Then Click the Design button (Cyan Trinagle upper left) to return to design view.
ind, I have very little experience in this but HTH. When I installed Access 2000 I thought it would be fun :-} to learn to learn about MSDE and projects. I had to go through a whole process setting up a connection from the provided the sample adp to the MSDE engine. Nothing worked correctly until I got this going, (reading the documentation a hundred times as I have no client-server experience). Once that was established I also found that through the icon on my toolbar, I had to make sure that the connection was running at the time I opened the project. Once that was done, I could create new views just the way I did queries (well, sort of) and as soon as I save them they are visible in the views db window, where I can click on them to see them in design view or open them. I had to work with the provided sample project and back end for awhile to get the knack of it. I've since been informed that I have no reason to learn any more about projects as I'll only be connecting to Oracle dbs in the future so that was the end of my explorations, as the I've been told the project is only for use with SQL Server. If this last is incorrect will someone please let me know.
