Can't see Exchange Server

Simple scenerio. Two W2K servers. Backup Exec v8.6 installed on one server. Exchange is running on the other. Installed Exchange Agent on Exchange server from the Backup Server. It says it installed correctly.

When I go into Backup Exec, I do not see the agent on that machine.

you need to install the exchange administrator on the backup exec machine - are you running exchange 2000 or 5.5 or what?

If Exchange 5.5, make sure the edbbcli.dll file on the Backup server is the same version as the one on the Exchange server.

Backup Exec uses this file to connect to the information store.
