Cant see applet in IE4

I am a beginner in Java 2 and cant get to see my newly created applets in IE4.&nbsp;&nbsp;I'm sure I have followed exact instructions.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Also, when adding applets to a web page in Dreamweaver the same thing applies ie when I go to view the page for testing before uploading I cannot see my applet.&nbsp;&nbsp;Any help gratefully received.<br><br>

Are there error messages in the Java Consol?<br>The IE4 not Java2 compatible (1.1.x only). If you want to use Java 1.2.x in a browser, (JApplet, Jxxxx), you must download and install the Java 2 plug-in, from the Sun's home page.<br><br>Bye, Otto.<br>

I have had similare progrblems with internet explorer.&nbsp;&nbsp;You might have to enable the java console in the preferences section.&nbsp;&nbsp;If you don;t have this enabled alot of times it will not load at all or correctely.&nbsp;&nbsp;Look in the javaconsole to see if you have any null pointer areas, this will prevent applet form loading.<br><br>hope this helps<br><br>ackka <p>moses<br><a href=mailto:tmoses@iname.com>tmoses@iname.com</a><br><a href=
