Can't see anything on the shortcut navigation lists

I'm not sure what it's called, in v9 and up, on the shortcuts menu, there are navigation lists for Inventory, Financial, Sales and Purchasing, and whatever else you can add.

When I click on one, the list comes up and says XX amount of records, and if I click on a line, it shows the description on the bottom, but this list itself is blank, like my screen isn't refreshing it's picture or something.

Anyone know why it does this? I'm not the only user with the problem.
