I have home version Norton Anti-Virus with security professonal. The security professioanl really gives me the hard time. If it is enabled, then I couldn't see any web site. If it is disabled, I see almost all the web site.

I don't feel comfortable to leave it disabled. It has Personal firewall, Ad-blocking, and a lot more .... I would like to enable it when I go on to the Internet.

At this point, it seems like I could only have one at a time, on-Internt or security enabled. Can I have both at the same time? Please advise. Thanks.

By using the Security Professional setting you are telling the program that you will manually put in the websites that are allowed. This is for either the seriously paranoid or those that need tight control over what sites are allowed. By leaving this off you are still protected by the firewall.

What you mean "By leaving this off you are still protected by the firewall"? I do have firewall set up for the computer.

Is the firewall part of Norton software? Or you are refering to an external firewall box. Thanks.
