Can't Search on Pop-Up List Field

Using FMPro5 on a web server, after establishing a pop-up list for a field, I find I can no longer do a search on that field when accessing from a browser. However, when I use the application at the server, I can do a Find on that field with no problem. Is there a solution, or is this a bug, or what?
