I’m having a weird problem in Scripting on CC6. After a planned shutdown of all systems, including the M1 and CallPilot, for several hours, I can no longer save a script. Any small change to a script and my only option is to “Save As…” under a new name, rather than just “Save.” Won’t give me the option to validate either. These are active scripts, primary scripts in the master script. Anyone ever dealt with this? Everything else is working fine after the planned shutdown.

You can't "save" or "validate" an active primary script. You have to "Activate" it on the file menu. Doesn't have anything to do with server shutdown.

Yeah, after I posted this I kept testing and sure enough, that's the case. Activating it saves it. So I'm just freaking out, this never did work?

Correct, on an active script, your only option is to "Activate" it. (Which also saves it, yes)
