Can't Run Speed Disk / Netscape scrolling lock up 1

I'm using a G3 long ago upgraded to G4 with OS 9.1.

I always run Disk Doctor prior to defrag but when I run Speed Disk I get a dialog box stating that the drive is damaged and to run Disk Doctor. Running Disk Doctor again changes nothing.

Also, when scrolling the browser window in Netscape 7.02 the app ALWAYS freezes. Sometimes the computer locks up. I can page up and down with no issue. Reinstallation didn't help. Preferences seem fine.

Running disk doctor rarely changes anything. Have you run a 3rd party software such as Norton System Works or something similar. Those work much better than disk doctor.
