Cant roll out an MSI package with GPO getting error.

When I try to add a package to a GPO for an OU I get this error :

"Add operation failed. Unable to extract deployment information from the package. Run validation on the package to insure that the package is correct."

I've tried several different packages and they all get the same error. This never has happned before. I have rolled out this package a few weeks ago to other OU's and it worked fine. Now when i go into ANY GPO and try to add it i get the error! help

Add the package from the RIS server itself, don't do it
remotely...

yea ive tried to do it locally on the server i get the same problem. im trying to email microsoft now to get the patch :/ i dont know why they just dont post the patch if this is a known problem

Good luck getting the patch.... they usually want $$ for those things.

I got that problem with Office and I simply added the package into the GPO from the RIS server (in terminal server mode) and it worked... twice. (2 servers)
