Can't retrieve mail from restored dbase.

I need to retrieve messages from backup that I expired and reduced by mistake. I restored the Post Office from backup to a seperate location. I then did a rebuild in the directory where I restored the backed up PO. I pointed my local client to the new directory and it opened up showing all the folders and mail i needed. Some messages however return a "GroupWise Error [C05D]" message when i try to open or archive them. What could be causing this, and how could I fix it?

It sounds like the rebuild that you did after restoring the PO directory did some corruption to at least one of the databases. What was the purpose for running a rebuild against the temporary restores PO?

Completely delete the temporary PO directory structure and restore it again. Once you have completed the restore, access the mailbox and see if you are still having a problem.
