Hi,
I just upgraded my Sql Server machine (IBM Netfinity 5000).
My steps:
1. Full backup of Sql dbs with Arcserve 2000 Agent for SQL.
2. Shutdown, upgraded RAM from 512mb to 1.5GB, and Hd's from 4x18.2 RAID5 to 4x32.6 RAID5.
3. Install Windows Server 2003 Enterprise.
4. Installed SQL 2000 sp3, Brightstor, Agent for sql.
5. Tried restore.
My error from Brightstor is "Cant use the file because it was originally formatted with sector size of 512 and is now on a device with sector soze 65536"
