I installed Solaris 8 on a Sun Ultra 5 Workstation. After the install I couldn’t use the Mouse, so I went into the boot prompt and accidentally set the keyboard to "false". I get the message "Keyboard not found". I did a Stop-N to reset the NVRAM to it's default settings but, it wouldn't reset since it can't find the Keyboard. What are my alternatives? Also, would buying a New Flash chip do the trick?

Try remote logging into this machine. Once there, become root and set the NVRAM setting using command eeprom. Should be something like:

eeprom keyboard=true
