Cant Reset System Password

So I have tried to reset the system password mulitple ways. I have tried using manager "Erase Security Settings", I have tried using the Reset button on the back, I have tried via Putty using AT-SECURITYRESETALL but all of them seem to fail? The Putty version will ask for the MAC address which I have put in but it comes back with "Error"? After using the reset button or the manager app, I attempt to login to the system & of course it asks me to choose new passwords which I have done but it always comes back & says the System Password reset fails with "access restricted". Has anyone else had this problem & figured out a resolution?

IP500v2 R11.1.0

Is this a branch system off Aura by any chance? That'll restrict access to Manager by default from memory as it's managed through System Manager.

Your post says it's an IP500v2. You should only need to do the Serial port trick on the back if it's an older V1.
The Reset Button has differing reset levels (reboot, to config erase to full system default - so be careful)

But you could be hitting a known bug in 11.1 if you going back in for the first time using Manager. Try resetting again, but use the Web Manager instead for initial login.
