the hp g95 series printer software on my desktop somehow got corrupted and when i tried to uninstall it wouldn't, i was told by hp to reinstall windows Xp proffessional which i did, but it didn't make a difference because when i tried to reseinstall the sofware it said it existed already, although i know its not working - out of desperation i deleted it out of the program files (i know i know!) and then did the windows xp install which as i said did not help. the software still wont uninstall or resinstall

i have lost my original hp disk which apparently has a utility to remove all the sofware, does anyone have a solution for me please?

Here is a link to the hp site, drivers and manuals.
You could try reinstalling from a freshly downloaded driver, rebooting, and then seeing if you have a software remove option (in win98 it would be in add/remove software-dont know what equivalent is for xp). If so, run remove, reboot again, then try the install and see if it works.

If it doesnt you're probably into some file removal and registry editing. If no one else posts in, I can tell you generally what I do on a win98 system and you can try the concept on your xp system.
