I have a Dell PE1430 running Windows 2003 Server x64 SP2 with Virtual Server 2005 R2.

I created a virtual server(Windows 2003 Standard SP1). After the server was built, running in a Workgroup. I could ping as well as RDC to this server.

I added the virtual server to the domain, restarted. I can still ping the server, but no longer RDC to it.

I have another virtual pc (Windows XP SP2) on this server. I am able to RDC to it.

Any ideas why i cant RDC to this server?

1) Open System Properties (hotkey 'Windows + Pause/Break')
2) Go to the Remote Tab
3) Verify that "Allow users to connect remotely to this computer" is checked

When adding a server to a domain this can get cleared.

Aaron, I hoped that it was pretty obvious I'd configured the basic settings for a Remote configuration, but good On Ya for checking.

I got stuck, so I rebuilt the Virtual Server and built it the same as I did the first time around and Im able to RDC to the server now...

I'm blaming it on Microsoft. hehehe.
