Can't Recover Deleted Items?

I set the deleted items recovery to 20 days and then went in through outlook 2002 and deleted a few items and tried to recover them but no items show in the recovery window. Do I have to wait a few minutes before they show?

Nope should be no delay.

Did you delete them then empty deleted item folder? If you shift-delete you have to set a reg key on the client. There is a KB article on it. Dan

It finally worked but took a few hours to kick in. Wierd.

I've been seeing the same thing recently, My server reports over 10gb worth of recoverable items but sometimes when a user selects "recover deleted items" theres nothing there at all. I've found that restarting outlook displays the recoverables everytime .. still looking for answers to this myself. 01110000
