Cant Recieve Voicemail.

Hello

I have a problem i have not been doing IP Office for long just a few weeks, but company expects me to know everythng already.

I installed VOIP to a remote user yesterday so they can be an extension of the office, and when i did so he had 2 messages in his personal mailbox. Problem is that he cant seem to retreive them, through shortcode or phonemanager(lite).

Any ideas would be great.

If this was a new user you created add V<extn> into the source numbers tab for the user. This sets the extn as a secure user for VM retrival.
VM can only be retrived from secure locations unless a VM passscode is specified in the VM tab
 
What happens when you try to access the mailbox remotly does it say "Remote Access Is Not Configured On This Mail Box"??

Is the speech path working Ok for VOIP. ??

If you access the mail box via *17 or message key and hear nothing but display on phone or P manager shows u accessing VM, then you mustnt have a vcn card, if you get a reply from the vm server then it is in your user configuration ie source number
 
Cheers guys solved it, I changed the user extension but did not chnage the voicemail box.
