Can't receive Symantec Email Notifications through GoDaddy

Ever since we changed our email to be hosted by GoDaddy, we have been unable to receive email notifications generated by Symantec Corporate Edition. These email notifications are not getting through.

GoDaddy says, and I agree, that their filtering system is so tight that something is kicking these notifications out.

We've tried whitelisting at GoDaddy, and we've tried "dumbing down" these email notifications as much as possible... i.e. using a simple subject line, limiting the info that is sent, etc... but we still aren't able to get these notifications to come through.

I suppose it's possible that GoDaddy's filters are TOO tight... but does anybody know a way to get these email notifications to come through?

Well, I might have defined the problem... getting it solved is another matter.

This is from the Symantec website, and as I look deeper into our email notifications, this appears to be our problem.

AMS does not populate TO: and FROM: fields in email alerts

Situation:You have configured an AMS email alert and find that the TO: and FROM: fields are not populated when the alert is sent.
Solution:This problem is solved in Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition 8.1.1 build 329. For instructions on obtaining the latest release, read the article How to obtain an update or an upgrade for your Symantec Corporate product <

I wound up using a Hotmail email account for these notifications, and forwarding Hotmail to my normal email account.
