Can't receive mail from internet but I can send it

Ok, I really need help if you can help me you're a god lol I have imail 7.13 and my user can send and receive e-mail between them and send mail to a user from internet but they aren't able to receive any mail coming from internet... I tried a hundread thing but it doesn't work so can anyone here help me please. I really need help!!!

In other word I can send e-mail to a user from internet but I can't receive his reponds...

He get a message like the user account doesn't exist erro 550 smtp or simple that the message couln't be send.

Could you guys tell me what is wrong please?

oh and btw it work fine with outlook... I tried it.

You don't say if you have a firewall between the mail server and the internet but I would get outside on the internet and try to send mail to your mail server from the internet. You may have a DNS problem. First thing i would do is try to telnet to the mail server. Type "telnet mail.company.com 25" where mail.company.com is the DNS name of your mail server. If DNS can't resolve the mail server name or a firewall is blocking access to port 25 you will know it. You should get a response with a number (like 220 mail.company.com) from the mail server. You can also just ping the mail server--you prob won't get a response from the server but at least DNS should resolve the name to a valid IP address and you will know DNS is working. Good luck with your problem. Let us know what you find.

Got it! my problem was that my mx record didn't point to the right adress. So I call the company who give me my .com and ask them to point my mail to my imail server ip and now everything works find.
