I recently inherited a client's 2000 exchange server on a win 2000 box serving some 50 users. This thing was initially setup for internal use only. They called the domain 'DOMAIN' (clever, huh?) so they had everyone setup and running with mailboxes like frank@domain.com. Now they want to touch the outside world as well, so they changed their MX record to point to this box and set reciept policy to accept @theirexternaldomain.com. Internal email still works fine, and they can receive emails from some domains, but through other domains, the mail never shows up. It sounds like an MX record issue to me, but I thought I'd ask you guys to see if there could be anything in Exchange gumming up the works. They don't have any spam blocking / filtering of any kind setup.
Thanks
