Can't read windows registry

Why is this ...

    Set ws = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
  
    'read key from registry
    sPath = ws.RegRead("HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\OUTLOOK.EXE")

Erroring with

Unable to open registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\OUTLOOK.EXE for reading

The key exits? I exported it to ensure I knew it existed, and sure enough, it's there?

Wow - I missed the trailing slash, the key is..
