cant read PCMCIA flash card

Hi,
got another issue, I've a 64Mb PCMCIA flash card and copied an IOS image onto it via my PC. I then placed it into the slot0 of my 6509 Sup II but when I do a "dir slot0:" or sh slot0:" I get an error.

I've tried formatting the Card using the "format slot0:" command but it fails when I reach the "add a volume ID" step.

Any ideas folk?

Did you format the card in the 6509 first ??? If it is not in the correct format you will get an error .

thanks for the input. I found out that I should have been looking at disk0: instead of slot0:

Weird as all documentation mentions slot0:
