I may have caused a problem and I don't know how to resolve it. First, mysteriously I could not see my 'D' drive and I used Computer Management under Windows XP Pro to try to restore the 'D' drive. Now, I can't read or see anything on the 'D' drive. It's like there is nothing there. I am not sure if this was caused because I enterred the incorrect volume. I have some very important data on that drive, a separate hard drive from the 'C' drive. Does it means that I lost all the data on that drive? And if not how do I regain the data.

Please help

wbrown4,

Before doing anything else, go to the drive manufacturer's web site, download a drive diagnostic, and run it on the drive. If your drive is failing, then at least you'll know.
