I have a problem with being able to reach our external web site which is hosted elsewhere. I figure it's because our internal doemain is the same as the web site we are trying to reach. when I do a nslookup on the domain it points me to our domain controller. Is there a way to redirect this web request to the external web server?

Add a record to your DNS server, or if you don't have DNS internal, you can add an entry to your HOSTS file.

Just to help clarify the above advice, add a hosts entry called your internal DNS and provide the proper public IP for your web site.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
