Can't program phones

Just started happening where the changes we are making on the CallManager are not populating to the phones. Doesn't matter wether we do it on PUB or SUB or what the change is. I have tried anything form changing a speed dial to adding a new phone on the system. Software is 5.1.1.3126

If the phones are registered to the Sub, try making one register to the Pub, then make changes to it and see if it goes. If so I'd reboot both servers and see if that fixes the issue. Sounds like a database issue.

Phones are registered to PUB, but have changed mine to go to DUB and then tried the changes again form both SUB and PUB. No luck.

Hae case open with Cisco and Vendor, but figured I'd get a better response here.

You should only make changes on the Pub, never on the Sub. Good luck!!!

Plus you should have your phones registering to your Sub, not the Pub. Try running the dbhelper app on your pub to make sure that it is replicating down to the sub.

I doubt DBHelper will work on CCM 5.1 and I agree. The phones should be registered to the Sub not the Pub.

oops my mistake, didnt see the 5.1... I have really got to stop reading message boards first thing in the mornings lol... miss lil things like that...

but isnt there a dbreplication command for the 5.0 CM's?

Not sure since it's Informix DB. Probably something there but I'd try the reboot first.
Anything related to the Linux kernel is very tightly locked down. I try not to do too much at the CLI on the server for fear I'll REALLY screw things up.

Changes are always to be completed on the publisher...

I would verify services in the sub and reboot both the pub and sub if there are no service issues....
