Can't print Word doc after making revisions

This is a weird one... I have Office 2010 installed on an WinXP SP3 machine. I can print a new document without issue but if I make any changes to that document, I can't print it. I must reboot the machine in order to get it to print.

I don't see any associated errors in the event logs and I can use the machine to do other things - I just can't print a Word doc after I've made changes to it.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

1. Is this true of all documents?
2. What happens when you try?
3. Do you see the problem in Safe Mode? (press and hold Ctrl while starting Word)

Have you tried Quick Print?

Have tried printing from Windows explorer? (right click, print)
